Who we are

Studenthuvudstaden is a project by Metvibee AB ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@metvi.app.

What we collect

  • Anonymous visit data — when you accept cookies, we store a random identifier in your browser and record the pages you visit, the referring URL, and your user-agent string. This data is used in aggregate to understand site usage and is not linked to your identity.
  • Account data — if you sign in, we store your email address and any administrative role you have been granted.
  • Content you submit — blog posts and admin overrides authored by signed-in admins.

Cookies

We use a single first-party identifier stored in localStorage for anonymous visit counting, and a session cookie for sign-in. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking is performed. You can decline analytics at any time via the consent banner; this disables the identifier.

Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Analytics — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Account & authentication — legitimate interest in providing the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention

Anonymous visit records are retained for up to 24 months. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact hello@metvi.app to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, IMY.

Data processors

We use Supabase (hosting & database) and Resend (transactional email) as sub-processors. Data is processed within the EU/EEA where possible.
